The Beautiful Fountains of Kansas City

It’s amazing the different ways you can learn about the world. This weekend I had to call Target’s customer service because my ipod wasn’t working and, while waiting on the phone, the lady and I struck up a conversation. She, was from Kansas City and started to tell me about the great reasons people should visit. In my mind, I pictured big fields of poppies, the Tin Man, you get the picture. Well, she definitely changed my movie themed visions of her homeland.

She told me that Kansas City is well known for its beautiful fountains (she also told me it’s known for the Mafia - so maybe enjoying the city afar from pictures is the best situation for you!). But, I told her I’d definitely look into it because her description was very appealing.

Eat too much food consistently and you'll gain weight, etc.

So, if you're suddenly not feeling like yourself and feel that you should be, try to assess what's going on in your life and then give yourself a break. When you're under a great deal of stress, instead of being hard on yourself, like many of us tend to be, you need to treat yourself with extra TLC.

It's a super low-fat snack that can help prevent cancer and keep your body in tip-top shape.

When you are looking for the perfect, low calorie healthy snack celery is a wonderful choice to make. It is inexpensive, easy to find, and will help you lose weight!

Celery is a vegetable that contains about 95% water. While many people might think that celery may not contain very much nutritional value due to the fact that it is such a light food, it in fact is an incredibly valuable food. Within just one cup of celery you can find 2 grams of fiber, 34 grams of foliate, approximately 19 calories and about 0.16 grams of fat. You can actually end up burning more calories eating celery than your body will take on consuming it.

-Anonymous.

Finding tools to keep me motivated toward fulfilling all my dreams is essential to my life. I'm in love with books because I truly believe that "knowledge is the greatest form of love." You can give a man a fish to feed him for one night, but of course, if you teach him how to fish, you will feed him for life.

Oxygen Bars: A Growing, Popular Trend

To relieve stress, hangovers and so much more. Ever heard of them? If so, what are your thoughts?

I first learned about this curious trend about 3 years ago. I was dating an interesting man who took me to a street fair where there was a unique bar he wanted to treat me to.

I looked around and saw that on top of this out of the ordinary experience, I was offered a nice array of choices, different scented oxygen "refreshments". I choose a tropical scent if I recall, took a seat, and tried it out.
