Garden Treasures from Around the World

Our world is filled with extraordinarily beautiful wonders. I wanted to share photos of exceptional gardens that can be found all around the world.

This first picture is the Japanese garden at Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. It truly exemplifies the wonder of "East meets West".

Another Asian influenced garden is this lovely picture above. It captures a wonderful angle of the Imperial Palace East Garden located in Tokyo, Japan.

This picture instantly grabbed my attention with its striking shapes and vibrant colors. The title of the picture was "Villandry Garden". I Google searched it and found out that there is a castle in France called the Villandry Castle and I believe that it is here where this lush piece of beauty is located.

Interestingly enough, the Asian influence has touched Cowra, Australia. This stone garden can be found at the "Cowra Japanese Garden". Ken Nakajima created this beautiful treasure in 1979 to embody the landscape of Japan.

During WWII, Cowra was the location of one of the prisoner-of-war camps. The garden was created to encourage peace and good will.

Liane, what gorgeous gardens you found to show us. They're each beautiful in their own way.
