It wasn't too long ago that I read a passage in a book that talked about how important everything is, from what we eat to what we read to what we see. Everything can affect us. Just as you digest food, you digest the pictures you see and the words you hear. It's a new concept for many people to think about, but it all makes a big difference in how you end up feeling at the end of the day. Would you give a baby junk food and speak negatively in it's presence? We all know there is a reason why doing so is not good, even in the briefest of moments.
As I read, the book told of how a study was completed where two sets of college students were exposed to two different sets of words. One group was exposed to positive words while the other negative words. In the end, the study proved that the students in the first group responded with more patience and politeness after they were exposed to the "good" set of words while the opposite proved to be true of the other group.
So, today and everyday, do yourself and this world a kind favor. As much as you can throughout your day, repeat to yourself, your loved ones and passersby on the street words of kindness, joy and positivity everywhere you go. In doing so, we will most certainly be able to lift the world up one word at a time.
....Just one of example of the infinite power of words.

Liane, as a true lover of words myself, I can say that I agree wholeheartedly. This was a great reminder - Nards
